Privacy policy
The short version: we don’t collect any data. What you log in Wuzzi is stored on your iPhone and in your own iCloud account, and is shared only with the people you invite. We have no servers, no accounts and no analytics.
Who we are
Wuzzi is an iPhone app made by Freddy Rondon (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Wuzzi app and this website, wuzzi.app. If you have a question, write to [email protected].
What we collect
Nothing. We do not collect, receive, store, sell or share any personal data through the app. That is why Wuzzi’s App Store privacy label says Data Not Collected. The app contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking software from us or anyone else, and it does not connect to any server we run.
Where your baby’s data is stored
The records you create, such as feeds, sleep, diapers, growth measurements, notes, appointments, milestones and an optional baby photo, are stored:
- On your iPhone, so the app works offline; and
- In your own iCloud account, through Apple’s CloudKit, so it stays in sync across your devices.
This data sits in your private iCloud database, which Apple protects under its own privacy policy. We cannot see it or access it. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is described in the Apple Privacy Policy.
Some things never leave your iPhone: reminders and your app preferences stay on the device that created them, and the Home Screen widget reads a small summary that the app saves on the same iPhone.
Sharing with family
If you choose to share a baby’s journal, Wuzzi uses Apple’s iCloud sharing. The people you invite can read and add to that baby’s records, and they see the name you entered in Wuzzi next to the entries you log (“Logged by”). iCloud may show participants each other’s Apple Account name or contact details as part of the invitation. You can stop sharing, or remove a person, at any time from More › Share with family. Sharing happens directly between your iCloud accounts; nothing passes through us.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles your payment details; we never receive your card, billing address or Apple Account details. The app asks Apple’s StoreKit, on your device, whether you have an active purchase. Apple may give us sales reports that do not identify you.
Information Apple may share with developers
If you turned on “Share with App Developers” in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements, Apple may share crash reports and aggregate usage statistics with us. Apple controls this, and the data does not identify you. You can turn it off at any time in the same place.
Children’s data
Wuzzi is made for parents and caregivers, not for children to use. Information about a child is entered by a parent or caregiver, stays in that adult’s iCloud, and is shared only with the people they invite. We do not collect information from or about children. Parents can view, change or delete any of it in the app at any time.
Health information and medical content
Records such as temperature, medication or growth stay on your devices and in your iCloud as described above. They are not shared with us or with any third party, and are not used for advertising. Insights in the app are computed on your iPhone.
Your choices and how to delete data
- Edit or delete any record in the app.
- Export your data as a PDF report or CSV file from the app.
- To delete Wuzzi’s iCloud data, go to iOS Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Account Storage (or Manage Storage) › Wuzzi, and delete its data. Deleting the app removes the data stored on that iPhone.
- Records in a journal someone shared with you belong to that person’s iCloud; ask them to remove them, or leave the share.
Because we hold no personal data, we have nothing to give you in response to an access or deletion request, but we are happy to help you find your data in iCloud. Wherever you live, including in the EU, UK and California, you keep full control of this data through your devices and iCloud.

Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change would mean collecting data, we will say so clearly in the app before it takes effect.
